After Cindi started the Laura Lamb Crusade in Maryland, Candy Lightner founded MADD, Mothers Against Drunk Drivers in California. The two met and joined forces in 1980, with Candy as president and Cindi as vice president. For over 40 years, Cindi has taught the health sciences, including courses in nutrition, drugs in our culture, and specializing in human sexuality. Cindi taught at the Community College of Baltimore County and was awarded the Adjunct of the Year. Cindi currently teaches at Towson University and Harford Community College in Maryland. "I LOVE my job, and my students!"
